Extreme Dissapointment.

So, here's most of the old art work I told you about. A lot of it is scraps and figure drawing from the MICA program, but it's still something to feed to my starving scrapbook. The rest are some other artwork to go into the "worthy pile". Be ready to look forward to some new work soon!
In this wonderful Lenten season (Roman Catholic, yay!) I've decided to give up soda and ice cream (poor ovaries... they'll miss that icy tonic...). Anyhow, I'm praying for anyone and everyone in need, despite what/who/where you may be (especially Tonyarama... did you randomly disappear off the face of the Earth?? I miss joo!). All of the MICA kids, I hope you are doing well with AP portfolios and college applications. Break a leg on those interviews, kiddos! Everyone else I know, I show my affection towards you enough, I don't need to write anything nice about you (jk: you guys keep my world from shanking itself with a dull, rusty x-acto knife. Thanks bunches).

Good luck with Lent! I live in a very Catholic town and every one is doing the Lent thing... Which is very brave because all the shops have filled up with the chocolate eggs for Easter.
No I haven't fallen off the world. I was doing arty stuff and when I am on line I get soooo easily distracted that hours disappear and I have done nothing with them.
Plus pain was keeping me away.
Anyway I now have a huge list of deviation to get through - which is punishment for my being away for so long.
That suck about your driving license. When are you trying for your exams again? It took me a couple of time before I got mine. If that helps you at all.

I'm so glad to hear that you're not kidnapped or "evaporated" and that you're active in being an art-fart. The best of us get distracted by the en-ligne, so it's aight. I was just wondering what you were doing that was keeping you busy.
Aaand there's the license thing. I'll be getting my exams at the end of this week (hopefully) and will be qualified for it once the week is out. Gaaah, stoopid license...

I laughed at the idea of being evaporated or kidnapped - it goes with the Sci Fi novel I reading... there is much evaporating and kidnapping going on. However - no my life is just not that exciting at the moment. Apart from our car dying today and the possible need for a new one - eeek!

What is keeping me so busy? I am making lost of beaded necklaces to sell at the art market and if I have enough at the festivals too. However I am now getting orders before I can make enough. Plus painting is keeping me absorbed. The naturalistic flowers needed to be put aside for a while and now I back to the fishes.... One painting is almost finished. So now I have to consider the rest of the collection... do continue with fishes or shall I mix it up with snakes, dragons and other Japanese mythological imagery. There are now loads of people wanting to display my work based on the fishes and now other exhibition places are coming available.
So I need to get all this painted and showing plus stuff to sell and my poor body won't let me get beyond 30min working time before I need a rest.
The rest of my time is taken up with physio, walking and getting stuff done around the house.
It is all very exciting.
